Susan MyrickWilcox is an all-encompassing Special Events Planner and Producer. 

Born in Louisiana and raised in Texas, she is an avid supporter of several charities focused on children and young adult education and health. Susan began event planning and production in addition to teaching elementary school, as well as serving and volunteering with various teams and boards planning school and community events. After many requests for planning weddings and social events, she left education and started Events by Susan. With over fifteen years of experience and her out-of-the box approach to design, she creates the ultimate experience for her clients, always excited to plan a new and magical event. Whether you need an event designer in Chicago or the Caribbean, her expertise with designing weddings, social and corporate events, charitable functions, and galas - her precision, execution, and creativity is always current and spot-on. 

Susan has been profiled in Bridal Magazines, Local Newspapers and Magazines. Her love for the Events Industry lead her to create Yellow Bliss Company, LLC to solve event planning for busy moms and dads, parents of Furbabies, and ethnic groups in search of thematic events to celebrate their children or culture. As CEO of YBCo, Susan and Co-founder Ola Morin Muhammed have curated unique, beautiful, and thematic “Events in a Box”. YBCo is an on-line event boutique featuring eventsin-a-box for children’s, furbabies, and adults. Truly everything you need to throw a great party in one box. When not working, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Hobbies include: volunteering, traveling around the world, collecting miniature samples of soaps and perfumes from hotels, watching movies and Wheel of Fortune, bowling, reading industry magazines, and dancing like nobody’s watching.
